"Scott is acting a little weird, I think whatever is in the air is hitting him doubly hard, would it be okay if I stayed with one of you for a few days, either till this blows over or the droning issue happens?  Its not that I'm really worried about safety, but he locked himself in the only bathroom."

There is also the fact that if you act as if it doesn't bother you, as if even knowing all these things is meaningless next to your own power, that's much more frightening."

I know who all defends her. I can defeat them all at the same time so it doesn't worry me at all. When I say I am the most powerful here, I mean it.

"That is true, but then they would come back, and they would plot against you and start chasing you and generally being more bother than they were worth. Its more of the matter of with the information she has, can she do anything to you? Because knowing powerful people from home, if they know you know things about them and aren't even worried. That is even more frightening."

I'm mad because she walked all over my pride even though I warned her that she shouldn't. And even if she comes back, she will have learned something from the pain.

"Well, a wise man I knew once said... If you kill someone, they don't learn anything. Here given the lack of consequences of death I am inclined to agree. However, if you can keep her nervous, she's likely to do something foolish, thus hurting her status."

If you just ignore it, or even make it seem like it was part of your plan, it will make her paranoid. Paranoid people do stupid things that make them appear foolish. People don't wish to aide foolish people."

"If she can't hurt you, don't let her think you care. Cause really, other than the betrayal aspect, why would you? That and the betrayal may hurt, but at least you aren't her servant so you don't have to endorse and defend it."

It's not just about being hurt. A heroic spirit as a lot of pride and walking across it means everything. Try calling Lancer a dog and see what happens.
